In 1900, Adler Automobilewerke presented its first automobile, marking a significant chapter in the history of German automotive engineering. Initially known for bicycle production, Adler expanded into automobiles in the early 1900s and quickly became a respected name, thanks to innovative designs and outstanding technology.
To mark the 125th anniversary of Adler’s automotive history, a special exhibition in collaboration with the Adler Motor Veteran Club e.V. will showcase a stunning selection of historic vehicles. Highlights include the Adler K6/16, Adler Standard 8, Adler Presidential Car, Adler Standard 6, Adler KL 5/14, Adler 5/13, Adler Type 10 "Autobahn" Karmann Sports Cabriolet, and the Adler Trumpf Junior Cabrio Wendler. The Allgemeine Schnauferl-Club Germany e.V. (ASC-D) was founded in 1900 in Nuremberg by auto enthusiasts under the name "Internationaler Auto-Spargel-Club." Quickly renamed, the club gained popularity among fans of the automobile. Over the years, prominent figures from the automotive world—such as Daimler, Bugatti, Maybach, Caracciola, and Porsche—joined and enriched the club with their passion and expertise.
To celebrate its 125th anniversary, the ASC will present a special exhibition at the International Concours d’Elegance ASC-Classic-Gala Schwetzingen, featuring rare and long-unseen automotive treasures. These extraordinary vehicles offer unique insights into the history of both the automobile and the club. Over the decades, ASC has become one of Germany’s most prestigious car clubs, dedicated to preserving historic vehicles and promoting vintage car sports.
110 years ago, the journey of Aston Martin began with the construction of its first car—laying the foundation for a brand synonymous with British elegance, innovation, and performance. Founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford, the first Aston Martin was built in 1915, marking the start of a legendary automotive legacy. Throughout the decades, the brand became known for its high-performance sports cars and outstanding engineering, achieving global fame in the 1950s and 60s with models like the iconic DB5—especially due to its association with the James Bond franchise.
This anniversary will be celebrated with a special exhibit showcasing key milestones in Aston Martin’s history. A particular highlight is the only Zagato V8 race car ever rebuilt by Aston Martin Works—custom-made for Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean). This extraordinary display offers an in-depth look into the evolution and exceptional vehicles of this legendary brand.
Founded in 1949, Abarth only came under Carlo Abarth’s independent leadership in 1950. Having previously worked for Cisitalia, Abarth now pursued his own vision of high-performance vehicles. Since then, Abarth has gained worldwide acclaim for its exceptional performance and engineering finesse.
To celebrate its 75th anniversary, a special exhibition will present a selection of iconic models. This exhibit promises an exciting journey through 75 years of Abarth’s relentless passion for speed and innovation.
Alpine was founded in 1945 by Jean Rédélé and quickly established itself as a symbol of motorsport passion and technical innovation. Alpine began producing road cars in 1955 after early success in rally racing, with the Alpine A110 becoming the most iconic representation of the brand and its motorsport legacy.
At the 2025 Concours d’Elegance ASC-Classic-Gala Schwetzingen, the 70th anniversary will be celebrated with a special exhibition. A key highlight is the Alpine 1300 S, which won the International German Circuit Championship in 1969—a major milestone in Alpine’s racing history. Alongside this historic car, other legendary models will be displayed, continuing Alpine’s tradition of performance and innovation. This exhibition offers a unique look into Alpine’s 70-year journey of racing passion.
In 2025, the Ford Thunderbird celebrates its 70th anniversary during the US Classic Car Concours—a dedicated American-themed showcase within the Classic-Gala Schwetzingen. First launched in 1955, the Thunderbird quickly became an American icon, renowned for its luxurious and sporty design.
The special exhibition features various Thunderbird models across decades, offering a compelling overview of this classic’s development. This anniversary is a unique opportunity to honor the Thunderbird as a symbol of American automotive culture and its influential role in U.S. automotive history.
